Our client is undergoing a period of rapid growth and transformation. As part of the value creation strategy, the company is seeking a highly experienced Transformation Director to lead critical initiatives that drive operational efficiency, scalability, and sustainable profitability.

The Transformation Director will be responsible for designing and executing the company’s transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives set by the executive leadership team and private equity investors. The successful candidate will drive business optimisation, performance improvement, and organisational change, leveraging technology, process enhancements, and operational best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a structured transformation programme to enhance business performance and drive value creation.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives focused on revenue growth, cost optimisation, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.
  • Partner with the executive team and private equity sponsors to align transformation initiatives with investment thesis and strategic objectives.
  • Design and implement a Target Operating Model (TOM) that supports scalability and long-term profitability.
  • Oversee system and process improvements, including ERP, CRM, supply chain, and automation projects.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation initiatives, ensuring successful execution with minimal disruption.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the impact of transformation efforts.
  • Lead cultural change and stakeholder engagement, ensuring strong buy-in from senior leadership and employees.
  • Support post-merger integration, carve-outs, and other strategic initiatives as required.
  • Manage external consultants and advisors engaged in the transformation programme.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in transformation leadership roles within private equity-backed companies or high-growth businesses.
  • Strong track record in delivering value creation initiatives, operational improvements, and change management programmes.
  • Experience in M&A integration, carve-outs, and large-scale restructuring is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of financial performance drivers, cost reduction strategies, and process optimisation.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and PE sponsors.
  • Excellent programme management skills, with the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build high-performing teams.
