Transdev Group, headquartered in France, is looking for a Bid & Transport Project Manager to be based in Madrid, Spain.

In the framework of upcoming bus tenders in Spain, Transdev is building a team including key bid workstream leaders in Spain.

Mission

We are looking for a Bid and Transport Project Manager to support the Transdev Tender Team in its tenders and expansion projects. You will be a key player in the growth process of the company in Spain, contributing to the achievement of new projects and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Bid management :

1. Analyse and study tender documentation (administrative and technical specifications, reports, need reports) and coordinate the preparation of the bids.
2. Collaborate in the preparation of tenders and bids.
3. Be part of the strategy definition and planning of the proposal.
4. Contribute to the preparation of administrative documentation for tenders, including the compilation of technical information and preparation of the technical report related to the evaluation criteria for the award of contracts.
5. Contribute to the preparation of the technical and economic documentation for the presentation of the bid.
6. Interlocute and coordinate with other departments of the company and partners involved in the preparation of the bid.
7. Prepare and present summaries of the tender documents addressed to all the internal areas involved in the tender to identify the key points of the tender.
8. Prepare and present market studies and request for prices from suppliers.

Contribute to the preparation of the Business Plan, its inputs, and the Economic analysis of the Project.

1. Overall participation in the different projects promoted by the business development department.

Technical support :

1. Manage and supervise studies contracted to consultancies.
2. Carry out demand and revenue studies through different strategies, such as surveys and sectorial studies or the analysis of external sources, among others, with different objectives (preparation of offers and revisions, risk analysis, medium / long-term demand prognosis).
3. Analyse information related to demand coming from different channels (ticket offices, web, social networks).
4. Analyse transport and mobility networks with the support of Geographic Information Systems (SIG).
5. Obtain statistics related to the operation and carry out special studies according to the needs of the company (mobility studies, changes in the offer of services, optimisation of resources, etc).
6. Support in contract negotiations and in the launch of awarded projects.

Business Development :

1. Research and analyze trends in the public transport market and competitors, from data crunching to field observations.
2. Support the business development teams by conducting innovation benchmarking and collecting best practices within the group and the market.
3. Assist in financial analysis related to business development projects and operations.
4. Support governance processes associated with business development projects.
5. Foster collaboration and knowledge exchange with counterparts in international offices or partners.
6. Stay informed about global trends in public transport and share relevant insights with the team.

Project Management :

1. Take a lead role in managing specific projects related to business development or process improvement.
2. Develop project plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Required Education and Experience :

We are looking for an efficient, committed person with good communication skills and a good global vision of the public transport market to join our team. If you are good at working in a team as well as with people, and you are keen to be in a multidisciplinary area, this could be the position designed for you!

We will value :

1. High level of English, able to communicate fluently both orally and in writing.
2. Spanish would be a plus.
3. University degree in Engineering, Economics or related field.
4. At least 2 years of work experience.
5. Experience in the mobility sector (transport operator, mobility consultancy, etc.) would be an advantage.
6. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
7. Previous experience in tenders and bids will be an asset.
8. Ability to work as part of a team.
9. Ability to plan and adapt to tight deadlines.
