The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The CRG is composed by an interdisciplinary, motivated and creative scientific team which is supported both by a flexible and efficient administration and by high-end and innovative technologies.
The User-oriented IT Technician will work with the other IT team members, dealing with any user-oriented tasks. Part of the work is likely to be in the helpdesk area, answering user requests. The rest of the time will be distributed between training and system administration user-oriented tasks (cybersecurity, networking, Office 365, etc.)

About the Department:
The IT Department is responsible for providing IT services to over 500 users (employees or collaborators) located in Barcelona Biomedical Research Park – PRBB. The department is divided into 3 areas: the Helpdesk team - responsible for the direct support to the user, the Systems Administration team - in charge of administrating all the IT systems, and the Web team - responsible for web development and support.
