In this role, you will lead the finance function across Spain and Portugal, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations, driving financial reporting excellence, and spearheading finance transformation initiatives. As a team manager, you will be responsible for internal and external audits, statutory consolidation, and process automation to enhance efficiency. Main responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, assigning tasks, providing support, and ensuring high performance.
• Finance Transformation: Drive process automation, ERP system integration (SAP), and financial reporting improvements.
• Accounting Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, adhering to IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Compliance & Control: Implement and monitor internal controls, ensuring regulatory and tax compliance across markets.
• Audit Management: Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with corporate and legal requirements.
• Strategic Finance Leadership: Provide financial insights to senior management, supporting mergers, acquisitions, and business decisions.

Core skills / experience

• Leadership & Management: Proven experience in leading finance teams and managing diverse stakeholders.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IFRS, local taxation, and compliance requirements.
• Finance Transformation: Experience with SAP integration, process automation, and financial system enhancements.
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to align financial processes with business objectives and drive efficiency.
• Communication & Influence: Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience: +5 years in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Professional accounting accreditation (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
• Detail-oriented, with a hands-on and organized approach.
