Analysis Engineer (m / f / x) for Platform-Software in the Area of Driver Assistance Systems and Autonomous Driving.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The team for the analysis of Platform Software examines errors, which occur during the execution of system- and component tests for ADAS applications. With your work, you acquire a deep understanding of communication between ECUs in the car. Using this in-depth knowledge and by performing analysis on code-level, you can recognize complex error patterns, propose bug fixes and, through the close cooperation with our project partners, get a detailed insight into the development of modern automotive software, as well as the workflow of software-engineers at our customers. We offer a hybrid work model with flexible office or home-office days.

YOUR TASKS

1. Analysis of abnormalities in the communication between driver-assistance ECUs, mainly over Ethernet (TCP / DLT / XCP), FlexRay and CAN.
2. Examination of errors which lead to crashes of single software-modules or of the whole ECU, for example by analyzing Coredumps.
3. Analysis of errors in relation to vehicle-diagnosis (Flash, UDS, DTCs).
4. Solid familiarization with the C++ Code to be able to perform detailed code-analysis.
5. Technical knowledge transfer as well as working on solutions together with project partners.
6. Validation of bug fixes for previously analysed errors.
7. Performing Debug-Sessions with stakeholders.
