Your Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to build and maintain high-quality, event-driven, serverless applications in a fully AWS cloud-based environment. This role involves hands-on development, testing, automation, and deployment of scalable backend and frontend applications.

As part of our global team, you will collaborate across departments, working on cutting-edge AI-driven solutions while ensuring the highest levels of stability, automation, and test coverage. The ideal candidate will be an experienced developer with a strong sense of ownership, able to deliver projects independently while contributing to a positive and team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend and frontend applications using Python, JavaScript (Node.js), and React.
• Architect and implement event-driven, serverless solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.
• Ensure high test coverage through test-driven development (TDD) and robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate and maintain deployment and environment management with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Build and integrate AI-driven solutions, leveraging LLMs, agent frameworks, and other advanced AI technologies.
• Optimize database performance, ensuring efficient query design and best practices in SQL.
• Maintain and enforce coding standards, focusing on code quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver innovative features that enhance business operations.
• Communicate progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must be available to work from the Malaga office at least four days a week.

Your Experience

• Strong software development experience, in Python, JavaScript (Node.js), and React.
• Expertise in AWS serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB, S3).
• Proven track record of delivering AI-driven applications using LLMs, agent frameworks, or machine learning models.
• Deep understanding of SQL and databases, with hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and database solutions.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and environment automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on stability, automation, and test coverage.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate clearly in a global team.
• Team player with a positive attitude, capable of working independently and taking full ownership of projects.
