AEM Solutions Architect

Adobe Experience Manager Solutions Architect | Full Time, Permanent | Remote (with occasional client visits required) | Spain

Our client is looking for an AEM Solutions Architect to join them on a full time, permanent basis in Spain. This is a remote position, although occasional client visits will be required within Spain (mainly Madrid) and abroad 2-3 times a year. The successful candidate must have strong verbal and written English and Spanish language skills.

Some of the requirements include :

• Hands-on experience with AEM, with a strong understanding of Java and leading Java based web projects
• Experience developing RESTful Web Services and familiarity with build tools including Maven
• Testing at all levels : unit, integration, functional and performance
• Requirements analysis and defining technical solutions
• Experience in leading a team, both technically and people management
• Ability to extend existing products and leverage their APIs to create a customised web experience
• Knowledge of version control tools, especially Git
• Familiarity with task management, bug tracking, and wiki-based documentation tools like JIRA

Some of the main responsibilities include :

• Defining the architecture of the solution, interacting with the client's architects
• Leading the development team, reviewing code, providing coaching and guidance
• Ensuring quality and performance requirements are met, communicating with the test manager
• Release management
• Development of critical parts of the systems
• Ensuring a reliable work environment for developers (IDE setup, Maven, CICD, Docker, SonarQube)
