Job Description:

The British International School of Marbella is seeking a Secondary Teacher of Science (Chemistry/Physics).

Responsibilities:

1. Have recent UK or International experience of teaching Science at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5; IGCSE, A level in Physics and/or Chemistry.
2. Have an Honours Degree in Chemistry or Physics or a related field.
3. Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
4. Have a proven track record of raising standards of attainment in Science.
5. A commitment to curriculum innovation.
6. Be an outstanding teacher.
7. Be well organised and create a stimulating learning environment.
8. Be enthusiastic and demonstrate a positive approach to pupils.
9. Be a reflective practitioner and continually strive to improve performance.
10. Have a keen interest in the Personal Development of pupils.
11. Have experience of being an effective form tutor (or equivalent).

Remuneration: Includes a competitive salary and retention bonus, and bursaries for up to 2 accompanying children. The school and BSF provide strong opportunities for ongoing professional development.
