Mission

Leading the financial strategy and operations of the Dutch subsidiary, the Finance Manager will ensure the company's financial health, compliance with local and international regulations, and alignment with the overall business strategy, contributing to sustainable growth and profitability.

Functions

• Oversee bookkeeping, statutory reporting, and compliance with local regulations, ensuring smooth financial operations across all entities.
• Supervise the month-end and year-end closing process.
• Act as a trusted advisor to operational teams, providing strategic financial insights and analysis to drive growth, and represent finance in cross-functional projects.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking to support decision-making and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with external auditors and other external agents during financial and operational audits.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls, risk management practices, and compliance with tax and legal requirements.
• Drive improvements in ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools to enhance financial reporting and decision-making.
• Streamline financial components of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process, collaborating with stakeholders and local partners.
• Ensure adherence to local and international regulations and implement strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Lead and develop a team of 5 professionals across the Netherlands, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Profile

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or CPA / ACCA qualification is a plus.

8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in finance leadership roles within an international business setting.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of Dutch and international financial regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.
