As the Head of Revenue you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing strategies to boost revenue growth. This includes overseeing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), negotiating energy sales contracts, enhancing the commercial strategy, conducting market analysis, driving business development, and securing new clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Energy Trading Strategy:

    Formulate and execute a robust energy trading strategy to mitigate risk and maximize revenue from renewable projects. Track energy market trends, identify growth opportunities, and carry out trading activities to optimize profit.

  • Revenue Optimization:

    Evaluate and maximize income from energy sales, including Guarantees of Origin and Market Access, while considering market trends and regulatory requirements. Work collaboratively with various teams to implement initiatives that increase revenue.

  • Commercial Strategy Development:

    Design and implement forward-thinking commercial strategies to maximize revenue from solar photovoltaic projects and other renewable technologies. Align commercial strategies with the overall objectives and commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

  • PPA Management and Contract Negotiation:

    Take charge of managing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and lead negotiations of energy sales contracts with corporate clients and utilities. Drive negotiations with clients, partners, and stakeholders to secure beneficial revenue agreements for the solar projects.

  • Financial Planning, Market Analysis & Business Development:

    Analyze market dynamics, competitor actions, and regulatory updates to uncover opportunities and challenges impacting revenue. Play a significant role in business development by identifying new markets, partnerships, and revenue channels.

  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:

    Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams like project development, finance, legal, and regulatory to support smooth execution of commercial strategies.

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

    Establish effective systems for tracking revenue performance against goals and key metrics. Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to senior management, offering insights and recommending strategic adjustments as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; an MBA or Master’s is preferred.

  • Over 8 years of experience crafting and implementing successful commercial strategies within the energy sector.

  • Proven expertise in managing PPAs and negotiating complex energy sales contracts.

  • Strong analytical skills to convert market insights into actionable strategies.

  • Experience in client acquisition and relationship management in the energy industry.

  • Demonstrated leadership with experience managing high-performing teams.

  • Languages: Fluent in English; additional EU language is a plus.
