RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Fostering customer relationships, making customer calls, and closing deals
- Using CRM to identify, call, and track prospects to gain core and strategic customer opportunities
- Visiting customers and potential clients within the assigned territory 3-to-4 days per week
- Effectively executing sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations
- Contributing to the regional team by consistently achieving new net revenue targets and sharing insights and best practices
- Interpreting how multiple factors affecting market conditions could impact a customer’s supply chain and delivering a persuasive case for change
- Maintaining a strong commercial presence in the local marketplace, participating or presenting at regional events
- Remaining engaged with customers to maintain relationships and ensure ongoing success of accounts in collaboration with the local assigned Account Executive/Account Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Minimum 4 years of outside sales experience with a freight forwarder
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week
- Fluency in English and Spanish

- A passion for business development with a strong sales mentality
- Advanced knowledge of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to persuade, motivate, and inspire others
- A self-motivated and results-driven professional with a positive outlook and dedication to high-quality work and profitability
- Ability to maintain strong inter-company relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
