Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Senior Pipeline Design Engineer with experience in civil design of conveyance pipelines for water, wastewater, and/or stormwater design, to join our busy and expanding experienced team.

Responsibilities:

1. Works as part of the H&D team with other designers at the same functional level that can be from different EC offices.
2. Coordinates and leads design teams focused on pipeline projects.
3. Conducts complex value engineering evaluations, determining alternative designs, materials, construction techniques.
4. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices, with latitude to determine work priorities.
5. Performs QA/QC review and participates in interdisciplinary reviews.
6. Ensures that project technical goals/milestones/budgets are met.
7. Prepares complex project deliverables using a team of junior technical and support staff, providing supervision to and mentoring less experienced staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

1. 10+ years of project experience in municipal water and/or wastewater and/or stormwater pipeline design, analysis, installation, inspection, leak detection, and management in design within dense urban settings.
2. Proven track record of working on H&H designs and collaborating with international and multi-cultural teams.
3. Strong knowledge of pipeline design codes, standards, and regulations (i.e. AASTHO, AWWA, Australian Codes, British Standards, etc.).
4. Proficiency in H&H software packages related to the expertise offered by the candidate.
5. Experience with CAD/BIM/Digital Engineering techniques such as Civil 3D or OpenRoads.
6. Experience working in the North America region/Australia will be considered favorably.
7. Fluent in English (oral and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor or Master degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Engineering or related field from a recognized University.
2. US and/or Australia PE license will be considered favorably.
