Job Purpose
Reporting to the Scientific Services Manager, the Intern Scientific Services plays a crucial role in providing operational support for a wide range of tasks within the Scientific Services.


Main Responsibilities and Function

  • Medical Information
  • Elaborate local standard responses
  • Register medical enquiries guaranteeing accuracy and compliance
  • Extract metrics: elaborate graphs and identify insights
  • Update the registry of publications for the annual CREDO report
  • Manage the bibliography request
  • Update the list of the responsible of the products

Scientific Compliance

  • Assist in the review of promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance with legal framework
  • Follow-up and update of the excels regarding relevant claims
  • Notify promotional materials to GenCat
  • Extract metrics and elaborate graphs regarding promotional and non-promotional materials
  • Monitor the email inbox to manage the process related to materials for Portugal

Profarma Plan
Provide support with the preparation of the Profarma report and assist in all tasks related to this project.


Publications

  • Manage the PubFlow platform and upload publications to initiate the appropriate review flow
  • Keep the internal bibliography updated and well classified according to the therapeutic area
  • Provide assistance with occasional scientific projects and administrative tasks

Education Requirements

  • Life Sciences related degree. Master's degree in pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Languages: Fluent in English to analyze and interpret scientific data as well as to interact in corporate meetings.
  • Professional Skills:
  • Ability to relay complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, critically analyze scientific data and ability to manage different tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in database management and MS Office applications (especially high command of Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and different therapeutic areas.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
