Job Description:

SAP Consultant / Payroll Consultant with German

As a member of ADP's GlobalView Global Consulting Services (GCS) team, you are responsible for delivering consulting missions to our ADP Global Payroll clients. Supporting them with client-side project activities, working with the ADP team to ultimately support the client to achieve a successful project go live. The work will be done in project mode, where the GCS Consultant will play the role of external consultant, working together with the client's stakeholders to coordinate and deliver on the agreed engagement scope.

The GCS consultant would be acting as the client's representative, working with the ADP counterparts on implementation project-related tasks, from requirement gathering, data migration, testing & UAT, go-live, and post-go-live service support.

Responsibilities:

1. Analysis & Consultation:
2. Support the client with requirements gathering activities and active contribution to the blueprinting workshops.
3. Work with the client team to help capture all necessary business requirements and any program specifications as requested by the ADP team.
4. Work with the ADP team to solve issues & gaps between client requirements and ADP GlobalView template.
5. Solve complex problems; bring a new perspective on existing client solutions and processes; exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information and make recommendations for improvements.
6. Integration & Testing:
7. Support with data gathering activities. Liaise with different client stakeholders to provide requested data in the format expected by ADP.
8. Handle and collaborate with the ADP team throughout the data cleansing, mapping, and conversion phase and provide any assistance required including reconciliation.
9. Possess strong SAP payroll configuration skills.
10. Support clients through the User Acceptance Test, Parallel Test, and Go-Live phases.
11. Writing of testing scenarios and validation of testing results.
12. Ensure that all deliverables are created on time and accurately as per project schedule.
13. Product Knowledge:
14. Possess a good understanding of Germany payroll, HR and legal framework.
15. Knowledgeable about the main HRIS systems (WorkDay, Oracle, SFSF...).
16. Project Planning/Management Activities:
17. Liaise with client's Project Manager or Global Project team (or designated team) assigned to the project, providing regular status updates and early warning of any slippage/problems that may occur.
18. Provide relevant coaching and knowledge-sharing opportunities for other members of the (project) team and work in close relationship with other relevant client stakeholders.
19. Able to work independently, under pressure, handling sensitive information with the right level of detail and attention.
20. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus; proactive.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

1. Must have configuration knowledge/consulting skills for SAP payroll. Must have solid functional/blueprinting knowledge.
2. Must have 6+ years of proven SAP payroll consulting experience.
3. Must be fluent in English. German speaking is a must.
4. Teamwork, work collaboratively with others to achieve group goals, working together to accomplish business results.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work in complex matrix organizations, and deliver on multi-national projects.
7. Analytical thinking problem-solving skills work systematically and logically to resolve problems, address opportunities or manage the situation at hand, identify causes, relationships, and implications.
8. Knowledge of following systems is a plus: Siebel, PlanView.
