Paternity leave cover till December 2025. Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Office management overview and support.
  • Travel and expenses compliance, review and monitoring.
  • Contract signing process and document management control.
  • Health and Safety compliance.
  • Month end - year end closing support (2x entities).
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Closing prior year accounts in Axapta.
  • Transformation of Holding company - reconciliation of statutory accounts to Axapta, dealing with queries from HQ reporting team, processing of adjustments.
  • Checking of IFRS 16 lease accounting.
  • Checking coding for health and dental insurance invoices.
  • Assist preparing of external audit deliverables.
  • Prepare and Submit Pensions.
  • Intercompany accounting support (2x entities).
  • Intercompany balances checks.
  • ICo payments allocations.
  • Updating the Intercompany agreements matrix (including collection and storing of agreements).
  • Accounts receivable maintenance and support (1x entity).
  • Customer repayments (overpayments / credit notes).
  • Credit Control for Spain & Portugal Customers.
  • Support for Tax and reporting obligations (2x entities).
  • Short Term Business Visitors Tracking.
  • National statistics reporting.
  • Corporation tax - assistance on the preparation of tax returns and preparation of analysis of allowable / disallowable expenditure.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and trend analysis.
  • Plastic packaging tax.
  • Doubtful account: Help SSC in complicated situation with the partners about the payment of debt.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • English: Advance level (be able to read instruction, exchange through email & participate to call in English).
  • Job experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance / Accounting Area (highly appreciable experience in multinational enterprise).
  • Technical knowledge: Accounting system (preferably Microsoft AX); Microsoft office; Proficiency in Excel; Tax in Spain.
  • Personal skills: A highly organized, result-oriented and self-motivated individual able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; Team-player; Multitasking; Analytical and structured thinking; Attention to details; Result-oriented.
