Are you passionate about Automotive Engineering and ready to lead cutting-edge product development? We're seeking a talented Senior Product Manager to join our Program Core Team and drive innovation in our automotive solutions.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for the complete engineering of our automotive products, from concept design to start of production and beyond. You'll lead a cross-functional team, ensuring compliance with Quality, Cost, Timing, Performance, and People objectives.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering; Master's preferred
- 7+ years of experience in automotive product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proficiency in CAD software and automotive engineering processes
- Strong knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, and product validation methods
- Excellent project management skills with experience in meeting tight deadlines
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with automotive quality standards (PPAP, APQP)
- Experience with cost analysis and 'design to cost' principles
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead product development from concept to production, including CAD completion and geometry convergence
- Develop and manage internal engineering schedules aligned with customer timelines and manufacturing constraints
- Conduct functional analysis, develop DFMEA, and support PFMEA processes
- Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering change processes
- Define and execute Design Validation Plans (DVP)
- Ensure process feasibility and tool specifications in line with manufacturing best practices
- Control product costs and drive 'design to cost' initiatives
- Act as the primary technical representative to customers, supporting program management
- Lead problem-solving initiatives using PDCA methodology
- Manage and develop the D&D team, fostering communication and performance
