Head of Data

We are currently managing a Head of Data role for a leading company in the energy sector.

You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, driving data-driven decision-making and leading the company's digital transformation.

Responsibilities :

• Define and lead the company’s data analytics strategy, aligning it with business objectives.
• Ensure effective use of data to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee data quality, accessibility, and governance (Data Lake, Data Warehouse).
• Lead the development of analytical models, reports, and insights to enhance decision-making.
• Implement advanced data analysis technologies and tools (BI, Machine Learning) in collaboration with the IT department.
• Coordinate with different departments to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations.
• Foster innovation in data analytics and intelligence tools.
• Manage the internal data team, setting priorities, tracking projects, and working closely with the IT department.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree, MBA, or specialized training in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Big Data is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven leadership experience in data analytics teams and strategic data projects.
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in data quality strategies and regulations.
• Strategic vision : Ability to align data strategy with business needs.
• Data leadership and influence : Promote a data-driven culture at all levels of the company.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language.
• People management and internal training capabilities.
