Your New Role
The main purpose of the Comms Coordinator role is to assist and support the Comms team on all daily PR-related duties carried out in the Spanish market, leading selected activities when suitable. The Comms Coordinator reports into the Comms Director Iberia WBD.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Service to Spanish editorial media with press material and information. Pitching the right stories to the right outlets/writers.
- Administration of comms team press tools, such as maintenance of press site images, information on press-EPK, and service of press screeners.
- Coordinate PR activities locally in Spain and maintain our solid network of key journalists and influencers.
- Assist in or lead execution of interviews for our content, through international press junkets and local press activities.
- Coordinate producing local events such as premiere screenings, festival screenings, and guerilla stunts.
- Assist in or lead talent relationships for local original productions and talent handling during events/festivals/awards ceremonies.
- Handling and send-outs of local merchandise and other PR-related goods.
- Monitoring our Spanish press monitoring system.
- Creating Coverage Reports.
- Translations and editing of Spanish press releases.
- Proactively collaborate with other local departments (mainly brand and trade marketing and social media) to align local comms campaigns.
- Assist on budget tracker and department expenses.
Skills and Experience
- Experience working in a Comms/PR capacity within the Entertainment industry.
- Experience managing press relationships, talent handling, and events production.
- Existing network of contacts in the local media field.
