Solution Architect North Region (Spain)

The candidate will join the Solutions Engineering & Presales Department as a solution architect for the North region in Spain, focusing on complex opportunities requiring group level approval. They will engage in consultative selling, becoming the technical reference for key accounts and designing solutions when the standard portfolio does not fit.

This position reports to the Head of Solutions Architects.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the client's needs and requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction, and help deliver customized solutions to meet their business objectives.
• Design and develop solutions in close alignment with presales consultants that meet customer requirements, are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's products and services.
• Act as proposal managers for selected clients and solutions, dealing with Delivery in Iberia and other Thales' entities and potential subcontractors to develop proposals. This includes designing the solution, its cost model, developing the proposal, leading defense workshops, and ensuring the bid management process is followed.
• Possess broad knowledge of all company products and services, playing a major role in cross-selling strategies.
• Have a strong understanding of the bid management process.
• Foster selected customers’ demand to achieve growth objectives by supporting account managers and helping prioritize solution development, requiring a close relationship with selected accounts.
• Gather and analyze data to assist the sales team in understanding customer requirements, market trends, and the competitive landscape to improve the sales pitch and develop a roadmap for nominated clients.
• Extensive experience in presales and bid management.
• Great understanding of a 360º cybersecurity portfolio.
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Computer Science Engineering degree.
• Recommended security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Implementer, GICSP, ITIL Foundation, etc.
• OT / IoT cybersecurity knowledge and experience.
