At Btech we are in time of growth and we are looking for a Product Engineer to join the Mass Production team of an OEM in the automotive sector located in BRUSSELS.

What are we looking for?

• People with teamwork skills, change adaptability and initiative.
• High English level.
• Availability to move to Brussels (THE POSITION IS LOCATED IN BRUSSELS).
• 3-6 years of experience in the automotive area.
• Experience in design and development of automotive parts.
• Advanced level of Catia V5.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.

What functions are you going to develop?

• To propose structure improvements in terms of shape, material or thickness optimisation, fixing solutions and parts layout.
• To study and confirm the performance of the design according to the client standards.
• To prepare explanation and reporting documents / sections in order to summarise and explain the key factors of their design, or decision making process; for the intention of review by client engineers / management.
• 2D and 3D design with Catia V5.
• To join meetings with the team members and to report their progress on a weekly basis.
