About The Role
Join Cobee as a Senior Backend Engineer L3 and become a key contributor to our mission of revolutionizing employee compensation. You'll collaborate with a dynamic and diverse team to design, build, and optimize robust backend services that power seamless payment solutions for our global user base. The role is remote, but you must be based in Spain.

As a Senior Backend Engineer you will work on:

1. Produce simple, maintainable code and in the meantime search for ways to improve it.
2. The platform requires special attention on performance, given the complexity of the data structures and the amount of requests the services are handling each day. You will be responsible for well testing your code (unit tests, acceptance tests, integration tests, load tests, performance tests) and propose/implement performance improvements.
3. Understand the capabilities and limitations of existing architectures and evolve them to satisfy future product requirements.
