Junior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist to help our customers gain deeper insights from their data and maximize its value.

We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join our team supporting the Application Engineering and R&D departments by performing high level analysis and developing data-handling tools to help our customers extract more value from their data.

By collaborating with both teams you will be able to face interesting challenges both from high tech novel research and from industry stakeholders transforming semiconductor metrology data into actionable insights. You will gain hands-on experience working on real-world datasets, collaborate with seasoned engineers and scientists, and contribute to impactful projects that drive innovation.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with engineers, scientists, and R&D experts. Our company fosters a culture of curiosity, innovation, and teamwork, where your ideas and contributions will make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test and evaluate new ways of providing value to stakeholders from semiconductor metrology data.
• Develop software tools for data processing, handling and visualization.
• Collaborate with the Research and Development team to analyze novel datasets and experiment results.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders the results of the analysis / developments.

Requirements and Skills:

• Strong interest in continuous learning and basic skills of data handling and software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or similar fields.
• High level of proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
• Python knowledge both for general software development and for data analysis (including Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib for exploratory data analysis and reporting).
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git / GitHub for code management and collaboration.
