Position Overview
We seek a proactive and experienced professional to support our Project Management Department in leading communications projects. This long-term role involves working under the guidance and supervision of the COO and in close collaboration with the Barcelona-based team (currently five professionals). As part of a small but dynamic team, you'll have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibilities, shape your role, and contribute directly to the company's growth trajectory. In addition to managing existing projects, the collaborator will generate new business development opportunities, particularly for EU-funded communication and awareness services. This position offers the unique chance to grow with the company, develop leadership skills, advance in project management, and drive business growth within a rapidly evolving consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Identify and analyse new market opportunities and client needs;
- Develop growth strategies focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction;
- Prepare and present proposals, offers and tenders for communication & awareness campaigns and content production services to prospective and existing clients;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Communication Project Management:
- Coordinate the production of videos, photography, graphic design, website, press articles, event organisation and social media content;
- Manage communication aspects of EU-funded projects, ensuring objectives and deadlines are met;
- Oversee communication campaigns, including scriptwriting and creative content development;
- Coordinate financial and human resources for efficient project execution;
- Prepare financial and content reports, evaluating the performance of campaigns and projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Communications / Marketing / Journalism / International Relations / Social Sciences or Business Administration;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions (Business Development or Communications Project Management);
- Proven experience in writing successful offer proposals and tenders, with a strong track record of securing projects;
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish. Knowledge of French is an asset;
- Knowledge of EU project planning principles and practices;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment and independently under pressure;
- Strong planning, multitasking, and problem-solving skills;
- Client-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Interest in social justice themes and public sector projects;
- Knowledge of the audiovisual production sector and its processes will be positively valued;
- Availability to travel to attend events, primarily for coordinating content production teams, though occasional business development activities may also be involved.
Conditions:
- Engagement Type: full-time contractor-based service formalised through a commercial contract, with the potential for long-term professional development and growth within the company.
- Work Arrangement: hybrid model combining remote and on-site work, with flexibility to accommodate a balanced work-life dynamic. We value collaboration and believe some in-person time strengthens teamwork and project coordination.
- Retribution: based on experience and profile, with eligibility for performance-based incentives after six months, tied to clearly defined KPIs.
- Trial Period: three months, with the expectation of long-term extension based on good performance of the candidate.
