The role: You will support the new TCCC (The Coca-Cola Company) European Operations hub which is, without exaggeration, part of the biggest marketing transformation in history: Centralising comms planning & media strategy from across nearly 40 markets in TCCC’s European hub. We will do so by governing & refining the implementation of TCCC’S E2E process which starts with a business brief created at a global level, goes through campaign guardrails created at the hub and ends with in-market and hubbed digital implementation and creating feedback loops of learning through tools & systems. This role is a unique opportunity to learn about the media landscape across Europe by way of planning campaigns for those markets. You will be the main point of contact for TCCC OU (Operating Unit) client for those markets, liaising very closely with in-market insight and buying teams across a set of different media. TCCC Europe has four clusters: North, Central, Eastern Europe and Mediterranean. You will be responsible for one of these clusters and their corresponding markets along with a team of offline and digital implementation planners that will be sitting across corresponding cluster offices.

Our promise to TCCC is to find new and innovative ways to deliver ‘Weekly +’ - increasing weekly occasions where a TCCC product will be consumed. This will require building consumer-centric experiences which connect TCCC’s brands to consumers in a meaningful way which delivers growth for their business.

The detail: This role is about excellence in planning campaigns that meet objectives from start to finish with clear project management, building excellent relationships with clients and inter-agency/other agency stakeholders.

As a Planning Manager, your responsibilities include:

  1. Planning Skills:
  • Excellence in planning process: source of growth, audience insights, cascading media choices, comms platform and media plan.
  • Proficiency in using planning tools such as TGI and GWI, as well as other digital tools such as Google Adwords & Trends, Community Management tools and others.
  • Well versed in budget setting and splits by channels, weights, and flights of channel.
  • Broad knowledge of offline and digital media channels and how they work together to create an effective comms system.
  • Client Account Management:
    • Engagement of junior/senior marketing people effectively, on both client and inter-agency sides.
    • Working with the client to identify exactly what will be done and by when and then delivering on that request accurately and on time.
    • Anticipation of client’s needs and influencing teams to quickly solve.
  • Project Management:
    • Creating a clear plan with client of key milestones and deliverables of campaigns.
    • Influencing various stakeholders to deliver project on time and to high standards.
  • Collaboration and ‘squad’ working:
    • Collaboration with stakeholders from within TCCC and agency partners from across WPP within a ‘squad’ format, namely forming small, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on specific projects/campaigns.

    • Passionate, self-starter, and solution-oriented.
    • Confidence to build close relationships with clients and to present in front of rooms of people.
    • Ability to anticipate the needs of clients to make sure we are always delivering above their expectations.
    • Strong project management skills - excellent organization capabilities, ability to manage own time, prioritize effectively and work under pressure on short deadlines.
    • Negotiation skills to be able to manage internal relationships to deliver on all projects and tasks.
    • Ambition to grow and develop within the biggest media agency in the country and one of the biggest networks in the world.
    • Solid implementational knowledge across channels.
