About the role
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to nurture and expand relationships with our existing customers in the Netherlands while driving new business acquisition.
In this role, you will focus on :
- 75% Account Management: Strengthening relationships with current customers through cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- 25% New Business Acquisition: Following up on leads, closing deals, and onboarding new customers (no cold calling required).
Key responsibilities
- Engage with enterprise clients and assist them with their short-term and long-term business requirements;
- Cross-sell & Up-sell our products and services to our clients helping grow their business with us;
- New Business Acquisition: follow up on leads, convert prospects into customers, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Provide an excellent customer experience from the initial call to final sale closure;
- Work closely with support & product teams to help meet the clients needs;
- Offer a high level of service meeting our department key metrics for Sales, Quality and Productivity;
- Represent the company at major industry events such as ICANN, CloudFest, and other key networking conferences to build relationships and drive new business opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in B2B Sales, preferably within the IT / Tech industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the domain / web hosting industry is a plus.
- Language Skills: Strong communication skills in English and Dutch (both written and verbal).
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using any CRM tool (HubSpot preferred).
- Commercial Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying market opportunities, understanding customer needs, and conducting professional, trust-building conversations to foster long-term relationships.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs effectively while balancing business objectives.
- Strong Communication Skills: Capable of conveying ideas, decisions, and complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Results-Driven & Sales-Focused: A proven ability to take actions that drive revenue and achieve sales targets.
- Passionate & Enthusiastic: A natural drive for sales with a positive and energetic approach.
- Resilience & Persistence: Ability to stay motivated and push forward even in the face of rejection.
- Active Listening: Skilled in asking the right questions to understand customer needs and allowing them to express their challenges.
- Empathy & Problem-Solving: Capable of stepping into the reseller’s shoes to offer valuable support and solutions.
- Confidence & Negotiation Skills: Unafraid to take initiative, ask the right questions, and confidently close deals.
