Associate Web Developer

The Associate Web Developer works as an assistant to Web Developers as he or she gains in-depth knowledge in programming and various technical concepts. He or she must submit to regular evaluation and report progress on various tasks.

The main responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct system tests and correct software defects.
• Analyze existing product features in terms of speed, performance, and usability and suggest needed improvements.
• Develop programs that examine product quality, accuracy, and reliability.
• Assist in the development of new product features.
• Deliver outputs within the given deadline.
• Work with team leads to determine product feature requirements.
• Draft documentation of new product and features.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Working knowledge in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and OOP concepts
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to share knowledge in the team
• Ability to learn quickly
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good understanding of technical concepts
• Experience in jQuery and/or HTML 5
• Experience in Ruby, PHP or ASP.net is an advantage

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in GIT version control system or equivalent
