Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Deckhand for a 70m yacht.

You will be responsible for maintaining the exterior of the yacht to the highest standards, assisting with docking and undocking procedures, tender operations, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the vessel. You will work closely with a professional and dynamic crew, where teamwork and communication are key.

Requirements

1. 6-12 months experience on a yacht
2. Great familiarity with children beneficial
3. Good with watersports
4. Fluent in English; additional language a plus

Key Responsibilities

1. Exterior maintenance, including cleaning, polishing, and detailing
2. Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and watch duties
3. Tender driving and passenger transfers
4. Ensuring all deck equipment is in excellent working condition
5. Supporting the team in all aspects of daily yacht operations
6. Watersports

Location: Med

Salary: EUR 3000 + discretionary 13 month

Leave: 3 : 1 rotation

Training Budget: Available

Note: Private / Usually Dual season / Caribbean season still to be confirmed this year.
