How to contribute to our vision

For our team, within the Drive Train department, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Senior Mechanical Engineer to plan, calculate, design, develop, and finally validate mechanical concepts and subsystems.

You will be joining a global team in Denmark or Spain with members across the world such as Germany, Spain, US, and India. Within our widespread team, you will need to collaborate across different business areas such as supply chain, installation, procurement, test, etc. We are currently developing the team and in search of a brilliant mind regarding mechanical solutions and analytical calculations to dimension components. What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change the world to renewable energy.

The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar, in combination with thorough practical experience and responsibility to:

  1. Develop mechanical components such as large casted components, forged structural components, suspension systems, fixation mechanisms (preload of bearings), subsystems (ladders and platforms, grease systems), gearbox integration.
  2. Explore innovative mechanical concepts and complete complex mechanical studies and designs.
  3. Clarify design and interface requirements with all relevant stakeholders.
  4. Perform CAD design (advance surface modeling, large assemblies, collision check, etc.) using NX and Teamcenter.
  5. Perform rough calculations on main components using analytical methods for pre-dimension (detailed calculation under Structural team).
  6. Perform rough structural calculations on secondary structures.
  7. Prepare Technical Documentation: 2D drawings with GPS (Geometrical Product Specification) that convey precise design and manufacturing instruction.
  8. Prepare project deliverables such as DFMEA, DRA (design risk assessment), CRS (component replacement strategy) among others.
  9. Prepare Specifications (ZPS) Purchasing Spec and Test requirements.
  10. Execute Design Reviews with stakeholders and balance important requirements.
  11. Release of Engineering BoM.
  12. Participate in prototype- & pre-series assembly in the workshop and implement lessons learned.
  13. Support production ramp-up of the first units before series with physical attendance at the production plant.
