Job Purpose: As part of our strategy of developing the Zoom business within Maverick and the wider TD SYNNEX organization, we are recruiting for a talented European Business Development Manager dedicated to Zoom who fits the Maverick mould. The energetic individual will be responsible for working across the TD SYNNEX divisions and with the local sales teams to create and execute the strategy and plans for Zoom video collaboration solutions. This position will require excellent communication skills, drive, passion for technology and a focus on delivery in a fast-paced environment. You will require a tenacious approach and the ability to manage a number of projects at the same time. Maverick is a very fast-paced company in a fast-paced industry so flexibility and the ability to work well with teams will be key to success.
Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who becomes the Zoom Evangelist within TD SYNNEX and becomes the 'Go To' person for countries, enabling them to achieve both Zoom and TD SYNNEX growth plans.
Responsibilities:
- Enable sales and drive customer engagement: Enable the channel to deliver Zoom offerings to drive the value of the solutions in the market; deliver effective sales & technical workshops, bootcamps and trainings necessary to build the skills and expertise of internal Maverick teams; participate, develop and/or support Maverick, TD SYNNEX and Zoom market activities, trade shows & events as assigned.
- Accelerate sales capacity and capability with key channel partners: Maintain regular engagement with all relevant stakeholders in Zoom, Maverick and TD SYNNEX Sales Teams, as well as 3rd party hardware partners to discuss latest trends, campaigns, offers, support and conduct feedback; continuously develop and expand sales (technical & channel), industry and product knowledge; maintain and develop renewals, upsell, and net new business opportunities; enable the countries to manage Zoom business smoothly, working closely with Software & Operations to maintain the business process up to date; represent Zoom / Maverick at reseller events to support their efforts to engage end users; responsible for growing TD SYNNEX's share of wallet (market share) with Zoom; translate Zoom objectives into actionable Zoom business plan; drive the presence and profile of Zoom internally within TD SYNNEX and externally; use available market insights and data (internal and external) to identify and target new resellers through partner acquisition to grow Zoom business; strategic input into Zoom's market propositions; support the development and execution of marketing plans alongside the Marketing Manager; accurate and timely weekly forecasting and pipeline development; Zoom operational, sales and marketing team engagement.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Good emotional intelligence;

- High energy and motivation;
- 4+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background;
- 1-2 years' experience in selling software license and cloud solutions, ideally Zoom portfolio;
- Complete knowledge of all job functions and the broad industry best practices, techniques and standards;
- Strong orientation towards and experience in services.
