Supply Chain Digitalization Consultant - English Speaker

Summary

The European Service Technician is responsible for performing Wild Goose machine installations, providing phone support, and conducting site visits. Additional responsibilities will include servicing brewhouse equipment from SS Brewtech and Deutsche Beverage + Process. This role requires 50% – 75% monthly travel and adheres to standard work methods to ensure a safe working environment. This position is based in Europe and reports to the Service Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Machine Installations

1. Ensure the equipment is operational after delivery to the customer's site
2. Train customer staff on machine operation and cleaning procedures
3. Document installation details in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

Phone Support

1. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues thoroughly
2. Process spare part orders as needed
3. Detail all interactions in the CRM system

Site Visits

1. Diagnose issues and resolve problems
2. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on installed systems
3. Travel to customer locations throughout Europe, US, or other parts of the world, by air or other means as required
4. Maintain a valid passport
5. Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills / Abilities :

1. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; fluency in French, Spanish, or German is a plus
2. Strong customer service skills, including patience with demanding customers and a customer-centric mindset
3. Excellent communication, time management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
4. A valid driver’s license is required
5. Professional demeanor and ability to work independently or collaboratively

Education and / or Experience

1. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the craft beverage industry
2. Brewhouse and / or Packaging experience required (experience with Wild Goose Filling and Meheen bottling equipment is highly preferred)
3. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred but not required
4. Experience with a CRM system a plus
