Reporting to the General Manager Iberia, the Head of Marketing Iberia:
- Implements the trade marketing plan and strategy serving the global targeted positioning of the brand and its objectives.
- Monitors the PR strategy concerning traditional Press as well as for bloggers, vloggers, MUAs & celebrities, and ensures all actions both drive the business and raise brand awareness.
- Oversees the strategy on all digital platforms, to develop brand awareness and boost sales.
- Manages, motivates, develops and leads the Marketing Iberia team.
- Participates in the operational implementation of all actions, respecting budget guidelines and calendars.
Works closely with the Regional Marketing & Digital teams in Paris.
Job Responsibilities
Marketing
- Roll-out in Iberia the annual marketing plan negotiated at Sephora Europe level, in coordination with the Regional Marketing team: new product launches, development of our star franchises; Analyze the performance of the brand.
- Negotiate and organize an animation plan in line with the strategy of the Brand: negotiation with our suppliers, creation of marketing tools, close communication with the field and follow-up of the actions, build-up of consolidated feedback and set up of key learnings.
- Develop a strong relationship with our retailers: Be the key person to contact on all marketing related subjects; Liaise with Sales, retailers and Flagship stores to identify marketing/promotional opportunities.
- Liaise with Regional Merchandising Department for all merchandising projects, and develop local merchandising, respecting the guidelines, if applicable.
- In line with our DNA, pilot communication projects to develop our Brand Awareness: through media channel, events, or co-branding.
- Organizes Iberia Sales Meetings by presenting novelties, marketing strategy and animation plans; All year long, efficiently communicate with sales and field.
- Build, nurture, and maintain excellent customized press relations with relevant media, proactively seeking and discovering media coverage opportunities.
- Manage Make-up Artists & Celebrities Relations.
- Development and communication of Press releases to key journalists/bloggers/vloggers to introduce them to our products, respecting guidelines & tools from San Francisco.
- Participate/Partner with our retailer’s PR events and build local Brand owned PR Events in coordination with the regional office.
- Develop Brand Awareness through traditional & digital media.
- Develop the ranking and the share of voice of the Brand.
- Be on all occasions a strong DNA conveyor.
- Community management: Implement the Digital strategy among all social media platforms to develop Brand awareness, optimize visibility and help grow Benefit’s social audiences & engagement; Oversee regular social contests (coordinate prizing, work with legal, etc.) & identify partners to amplify contest reach.
- Digital Influencers management: Develop, grow and maintain relationships with top vloggers/bloggers/digital journalists resulting in increased quality placements & exposure; Identify, cultivate & develop consistent, ongoing relationships with key digital influencers; Work with influencers on contests & co-created content, with the goal of reaching new audiences; Participate to blogger/vloggers events.
- E-retail: Work closely with Sephora and regional teams to optimize our visibility on Sephora.pt.
- Benefit content site: Work closely with regional teams to update the Corporate Iberia content site and raise Brand awareness; Grow our emailing database.
- Continually monitor all the digital content to ensure it is on brand and meets strategic objectives.
- Define and monitor an action plan for NBBA exposure, in coordination with the E-Retail & Digital Manager.
Budget
Manage the Marketing, PR and Digital budgets ensuring that all expenditure is in line with approved budget and forecasts.

Profile
Key Competencies Strong presentation and Communication Skills. High level of positive energy; Creative, reactive & fun. Proactive, curious, confident, assertive, able to think “out of the box”. Strong Influencing skills. Good Planning & Organization skills. Good attention to detail. Works well under pressure and to deadlines. Technical Skills IT Skills Powerpoint/Word and Excel. Photoshop would be a plus. Fluent English. Spelling competency is a must. Profile Minimum of 8 years of Marketing & PR experience that shall include: Solid marketing competencies and views, definition, and implementation of 360s. PR management and network within the beauty industry with key MUA’s, Bloggers, Vloggers. Good knowledge and understanding of making use of Social Media channels.
