A Day in the Life

Gain the opportunity to be at the forefront of the future of electrophysiology. As a Sales Representative for our Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team, you will have a direct impact on advancing patient care through Medtronic’s technologies and therapies. We are dedicated to leading the market with our Affera Mapping and Ablation System, innovating cutting-edge ablation catheters, cardiac mapping systems, and traditional electrophysiology (EP) products.

As a Sales Representative you will be responsible to maintain and develop CAS business with existing and new customers in line with the Iberia Business Manager and business strategies in your defined sales territory while meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets, in a way that enhances Medtronic’s reputation in the market. In this remote position, the working territory will be Extremadura, and you will be expected to be located in Cáceres or Badajoz.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the marketplace to develop a territory/account sales strategy and present it to management for approval.
  • Maximize sales through product introduction, presentation, contract negotiation, and identifying, preparing, and executing upcoming tenders.
  • Identify and engage key decision makers and opinion leaders in all accounts, reporting regularly to the district manager.
  • Increase penetration in existing accounts, develop them into potential new product and patient therapy opportunities.
  • Provide technical support to customers and support procedures when required, ensuring consignment and stock levels are controlled per asset management guidelines.
  • Plan and prepare sales forecasts by account, product, and therapy, planning meetings, customer activities, and investments for the territory.
  • Regularly update and report comprehensive information on accounts, market trends, and competitive metrics.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or other relevant degree.
  • At least 2 years of selling experience in the medical device industry and in the Electrophysiology field.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other systems applications in data processing.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision, competitive and winning mindset.
  • Full clean driver license, availability and willingness to travel.

3D mapping experience is highly valued, and Marketing knowledge is also valuable.
