Position: Logistics Scheduler

Responsibilities:

1. Execute daily same day or next day forecasts.
2. Plan delivery routes or monitor the volume flow, affecting tens of thousands of packages at EU level.
3. Accountable for planning accuracy, cost, and customer experience.
4. Develop best practices and standard work for the network.
5. Ensure targets and service deadlines are met, according to regulatory requirements.
6. Communicate with various departments, facilitating the flow of information between different stakeholders and resolving any potential issues that impact business continuity.
7. Conduct research into process improvement initiatives and make real-time decisions by taking a step back at strategic intervals to take in the bigger picture.
8. Maintain and report up-to-date and accurate statistics, management reports, and analysis.

A day in the life: This position is office-based 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon’s current flexible work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements. As a Logistics Scheduler, you will work across the EU in a cross-functional environment with the Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, and Ground Transportation teams to support our day-to-day operations and ensure the timely delivery of Heavy/Bulky shipments to our customers.

Qualifications:

1. Relevant experience in analytical tasks or projects, working with data.
2. Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR).
3. Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
4. Experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership.
5. Previous experience within transportation or logistics.
6. Working experience in programming and coding languages (SQL or Python).
7. Flexibility to work night shifts if requested.
