Job Description:

The Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution that promotes and develops research, innovation, and biosanitary teaching at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital. Position Overview:

The Shock, Organ Dysfunction, and Resuscitation Group seeks to incorporate a Research Study Coordinator for Clinical Trials in Coronavirus to support specific tasks.

Education and Qualifications:

Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field.
  2. Good communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
  3. Proficiency in computer use (Office package, email).
  4. Organized and methodical with high motivation and initiative.

Desired:

  1. Training in good clinical practice and clinical trials methodology.
  2. Knowledge of SPSS and other databases.
  3. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Experience and Knowledge:

Required:

  1. Experience with SAP management program.
  2. Experience with ICU Database.

Desired:

  1. Previous experience in research projects.
  2. Experience in data management.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Coordinate and promote patient recruitment for clinical trials.
  2. Collect patient data.
  3. Manage the database.
  4. Assist the research team with tasks necessary for study development.

Labour Conditions:

Full time (40 hours/week). Gross annual salary according to salary scale: 22,823.22€. Immediate incorporation. Length of the contract: until the end of the project.
