Offer Description
Applications are invited by the University of Alicante President to create a pre-shortlist of candidates to cover an open-ended contractual position as a senior technologist to collaborate with the funded research line “Design of data spaces and open data management”. Reference I-PAS-82/24.
Project TSI-(phone hidden)-24 funded by the Spanish Ministry of Digital Transformation and Public Function and by the European Union-Next GenerationEU/PRTR.
In accordance with the provisions of the regulations governing calls for applications of research staff to cover contractual positions assigned to research projects, available at the following website address:
First. Number of vacancies and features of the job vacancy:
- Number of job vacancies: one.
- Job position: senior technologist.
- Funded line of research: “Design of data spaces and open data management”.
- Working hours: full-time position, morning/afternoon sessions.
- Remuneration: €1,800 gross/monthly plus two extra payments of the same amount as the monthly remuneration, or a proportional part for periods of less than one year.
Second.
First project in which the successful applicant will collaborate.
- Name of the project: “HELEADE (Wetlands as generators of environmental and economic value through a territorialised data space)”.
- Tasks to be carried out:
- Developing use cases for the environmental data space.
- Drafting legal reports and practical legal guides for easier understanding and proper use of the data space relating to wetlands.
- Adapting the environmental data space relating to wetlands to ensure compliance with current legislation.
- Drafting and reviewing collaboration agreements for data sharing between the parties concerned (companies, public administrations, NGOs, etc.) within the data space.
- Proposing clauses on the use of data and the protection of confidential or sensitive information.
- Designing licensing agreements concerning the services and products generated from the data space.
- Developing policies and terms of use concerning the data space.
- Developing a governance framework for data interoperability between the parties concerned.
- Proposing legal strategies to encourage investment in sustainable projects linked to the data space.
- Performing any other task related to the design of the environmental data space and the development of use cases.
Third. Application assessment criteria.
- Official academic qualifications (maximum 2 points): The following qualifications will be considered for this job vacancy: undergraduate degree in Law (Spanish MECES level 2 or EQF level 6) or any other official degree with equivalent content.
- Experience (maximum 3 points): performance of tasks and activities, by means of an employment contract, in any field or administrative relationship, excluding teaching activities.
- Additional education (maximum 3 points): Qualifications related to the tasks described in the second section.
- Academic curriculum vitae: maximum 5 points. Academic achievements related to tasks described in the second section.
Fourth. Requirements for applicants.
- Hold or be in the process of obtaining a 1st-cycle undergraduate degree, an engineering technology degree, an architectural technology degree or equivalent.
- Have Spanish nationality or be in one of the situations listed in article 57 of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015.
- Have a good command of any of the official languages of the Valencia Region for the performance of the job.
- Be at least 16 years of age and not be over the maximum age for compulsory retirement.
- Possess the physical and mental capacities and aptitudes necessary for the performance of the relevant duties and tasks.
- Not be disqualified by final judgement or as a result of having been dismissed for disciplinary reasons to perform duties similar to those of the relevant professional category.
