VC Senior Associate

A venture capital firm based in Spain, investing in early-stage Medtech and DeepTech start-ups.

Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role for a VC Senior Associate. The Senior Associate will be responsible together with Partners for managing deal flow, evaluating and analyzing potential investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, structuring deals ands supporting and following up portfolio companies.

Experience and education

Either:

• Business Administration/Economics and Law education. MBA a plus
• Experience structuring deals from a legal and business perspective
• Experience in VC or as an entrepreneur or supporting entrepreneurs
• Experience in the VC, legal or M&A industries

Or

• Ms in Bioengineering, PhD in Bioengineering a plus
• Knowledge of regulatory and market access proceses for Medtech products
• Experience in the healthcare or Medtech industry
• Experience in VC or as an entrepreneur or supporting entrepreneurs

Qualifications

• Financial modeling, market analysis, and due diligence skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of venture capital and investment processes
• Proficiency in Spanish and English. Catalan a plus
