Position: Data Engineer - Backend Developer

What you’ll do:

1. Build data ecosystem and make it mature and reliable.
2. Program for agile product development.
3. Work with product services, infrastructure, frameworks, and apps.
4. Follow the internal coding guidelines and carry out code reviews.
5. Provide personal input for the optimization of the product.
6. Support and coach interns in their field of technical knowledge.
7. Perform complex tasks independently.
8. Identify technical debt and communicate the consequences.

What we’re looking for:

1. Higher education or equivalent ability.
2. 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering (data modeling, building and maintaining data pipelines (ETL) and warehousing solutions).
3. 3+ years development experience using Python, Docker, and AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS).
4. Experience with database design and administration with various RDBMS, such as MySQL.
5. Nice to have: AWS CloudFormation, Lambda, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Tableau or similar BI tool.
6. Team player with great motivation to learn new skills and willingness to share knowledge.
7. Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.
8. Good knowledge of the functional and design guidelines of iOS.
9. Experience working in an Agile environment.
