Offer Description:

• Design of open, modular, and extensible processors with RISC-V architectures.
• Implementation of fault tolerance and security mechanisms on RISC-V.
• Validation, verification, and testing of RISC-V-based processors and accelerators.
• Development and integration of software on RISC-V-based SoCs / SiPs.

Requirements:

Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Skills / Qualifications:

• Higher degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Specific Requirements:

• Knowledge in the design of digital systems, HLS, embedded software.
• Experience in microprocessor architectures and low-level microcontroller programming.
• Programming in C and Python for embedded devices.

Additional Information:

The contract includes a gross salary of 35700 € over 12 payments, and full social benefits in Spain. The salary level is competitive for the current situation in Madrid. Conference, summer school and workshop registration fees will also be covered.

The contracted researcher will participate in a joint program with INDRA, an international Spanish-based company, within the project “Chair UPM-INDRA in microelectronics”.
