Responsibilities:
Implement, test and apply predictive algorithms by using machine learning and statistical models which will help Deporvillage to create customizable content.
Create forecasting models and recommend designs.
Interact with cross-functional teams such as engineering, infrastructure, product, marketing among others.
Work on projects such as price elasticity, supply chain forecasting, recommenders, fraud, and more.
Utilize a modern tech stack that leverages AWS, Sagemaker, Bedrock, BigqueryML, Snowflake, Pyspark, etc.
Use Agile methodologies oriented towards quarterly OKRs.
What we expect you to bring:
4 years experience as a data scientist/analyst engineer, especially in the e-commerce industry.
Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
Experience with statistical software such as R or Python for data mining, manipulation, and performing exploratory analysis.
Strong knowledge of data structures.
Experience in A/B testing.
Solid engineering workflows, such as CI/CD. Test, automate and monitor everything! Ownership and commitment are mandatory for us.
Empathy and being a team player is a must.
