As we continue to expand our global presence, we are seeking an agile and experienced Director – Corporate Development to join our global Corporate Development team.

Position Overview

The Director – Corporate Development will play a pivotal role in shaping our growth trajectory by developing and executing the corporate strategic planning process, partnering with senior management stakeholders and colleagues to identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities, as well as lead post-merger integration activities. The successful candidate will possess a strong strategic mindset, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration. We imagine that you are value-driven, entrepreneurial and possess a strong toolbox in various aspects of strategy, M&A & PMI processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Direct the development and implementation of the corporate strategic planning process, encompassing short-term and long-term goals, market analysis, and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to align functional strategies with overall corporate goals.
• Conduct thorough market research, industry analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
• Drive innovation by proposing new business initiatives, partnerships, and investment opportunities to support growth and diversification.
• Develop financial models and perform scenario analysis to assess the potential impact of strategic decisions.
• Present strategic recommendations to the executive team in a clear and persuasive manner.
• Monitor key performance indicators and industry developments to assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
• Foster a culture of strategic thinking and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Develop and maintain the M&A / PMI processes and toolbox.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or related fields, with a proven track record of delivering impactful strategic initiatives.
• Strong business and financial acumen, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on driving collaboration and achieving results.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.
• Experience in Wind or energy market an advantage but not mandatory.
• An overall passion for sustainability is key to this role.
• Fluent in English and one or more other European languages.
• Willingness to travel to our headquarters in Ikast and other offices when necessary (up to 25% of the time).

Location

This role can be based in any of KK Wind Solutions' offices in Madrid, Spain or Szczecin, Poland.
