About the Company - We are currently seeking a skilled Power Market Associate to join our Energy Management team at Qualitas Energy, based in our Madrid office. Qualitas Energy is a leading fund manager specializing in renewable energy, energy transition, and sustainable infrastructure across Spain, Germany, Italy, Poland, the UK, Chile, and the United States. The Energy Management team is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Group's diverse portfolio, encompassing electricity, environmental products, and emerging technologies.

About the Role - As a member of the Energy Management team, the Power Market Associate will analyze power market trends, create predictive models, and refine operational optimization strategies for renewable assets. This role is integral to supporting corporate development, guiding new investments, and contributing to the ongoing refinement of Qualitas' portfolio.

Qualifications

Academic Background: A Bachelor's degree with a Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is preferred. Specialized education in power systems is an additional asset.

Experience: We welcome candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience. Previous engagement in the Electric Power and Natural Gas sector will be considered favorably.

Required Skills

1. Quantitative Prowess: Strong quantitative skills, adept modeling capabilities, and experience with extensive datasets are advantageous.
2. Academic Excellence: A track record of outstanding academic achievement and a natural aptitude for analytics are essential.
3. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Knowledge and experience in Python or any other programming languages are highly valued.

Preferred Skills

1. An adaptable and flexible approach to work in a dynamic environment is highly valued.
2. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
3. Excellent writing and reading skills are expected.
4. Proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory, while proficiency in German, Italian, or Polish is viewed positively.
