At the Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG), we are looking to hire a Digital Workplace & IT Specialist to join the IT team. The selected candidate will ensure the efficiency and optimization of digital tools within the organization, guaranteeing the proper use of Microsoft 365, Teams, the intranet, and other developed or acquired applications. The role will focus on facilitating digitalization, automation, and continuous process improvement, as well as planning technological investments in coordination with the department lead and implementing new digital solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Digital Workplace & Productivity Tools
  • Administration and optimization of Microsoft 365 and Teams.
  • Management and improvement of the intranet and digital applications.
  • Continuous user training through guides, seminars, and training sessions.
  • Conducting regular surveys to identify IT needs (M365, Teams, digital applications).
  • Implementation of improvements and new digital tools (e.g., Power BI).
  1. IT Needs Analysis & Planning
  • Managing and prioritizing technological improvements through a ticketing system.
  • Coordinating with the IT lead and a dedicated committee to identify and plan technological investments.
  • Proposing new acquisitions and optimizing digital resources.
  1. Coordination & Support
  • Assisting in the implementation of new technologies.
  • Coordinating with the Systems Administrator to ensure compatibility and security.

Candidate Requirements

  1. Education
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or similar.
  • Additional valued qualifications :
  • Certifications in Microsoft 365 and / or ITIL.
  1. Experience
  • Prior experience in administering digital tools and collaborative environments is a plus.
  • Experience in IT training and process improvement is valued.
  • Knowledge of digital process automation and / or technology update plans is beneficial.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and user training skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to coordinate and work within a technical team.
  1. Technical Knowledge
  • Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with Active Directory management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 / SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Telephony, and OneDrive.
