As a Digital Product Manager, you will analyze the drivers of Desigual's demand to generate the processes that help the organization to cover the digital channel's needs in terms of stock availability and product allocation. You may also coordinate the purchasing processes with the involved areas/departments, by monitoring the proper budgets, as well as defining accurate purchasing and replenishment plans that adjust to the best product availability. Thus, to ensure balance between supply and demand, maximizing sales and optimizing the excess stock.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital channels analysis - Analyze the overall situation and the product-related KPI's of the assigned digital channels (e.g. sales and stocks, best sellers, product exposition, etc.) to track its evolution, detect deviations and make proper decisions regarding the optimum product assortment and allocation within the assigned channels, in coordination with your supervisor. - Prepare a weekly action plan by product and channel/country.
Digital replenishment management - Analyze the sales forecasts, the purchasing orders status and other related parameters such as safety stocks or lead times, and prepare inventory forecasts projections for the organization, to provide them with the big picture, supporting the decision-making processes and recommendations regarding the optimization of business results and working capital. - Review and propose alternatives in case of modifications or deviations on the purchasing orders (e.g. delays, advancement of orders, relevant events during the season, etc.), adjusting them to demand and avoiding stockouts. - Manage, monitor and optimize the stock excesses, destructions or slow movers within the company, keeping track of the stocks evolution and providing the required information, and calculate the replenishment needs of transfers between the logistics centers, within the scope of action. - Review and adjust global discounts strategy according to digital performance.
Coordination with Digital team - Keep frequent contact with the digital sales teams under your responsibility, to gather needs, know the typology of customers, provide them with specific information regarding product or other relevant information, solve potential incidences and obtain feedback on sales and performance, aiming to ensure proper operation and ease the decision-making processes.
Commercial initiatives - Participate in the definition of commercial initiatives for the managed digital channels, by adjusting promotions and prices by country during the sales season and other specific promotional initiatives, in coordination with your supervisor.
Requirements:
Fluent in both Spanish and English.
Experience in performance analysis and knowledgeable about product hierarchy and relevance metrics.
Process-oriented, able to design and build up new connections with different departments.
Self-starter, able to work effectively without regularly needing to be told what to do.
Experienced with Microsoft Excel and BI tools.
