Digital Asset Librarian - 100% Remoto

HAYS Technology is collaborating with the leading company in the pharmaceutical sector, TOP 10 pharma with more than 146 affiliates around the world and 47 employees, of which 1,600 are located in Spain.

They create innovative medicines for people and animals, adding value through innovation for all three business areas: human pharmaceuticals, animal health, and contract manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals. Now they are in the expansion phase and are developing the animal area. Our client is forming a technological hub that will serve the entire group internationally. This hub is located in San Cugat del Vallés.

We are looking for a Digital Asset Librarian to expand their team. You will work closely with the Digital Asset Management platform (DAM), BI global platform for storing, managing, and sharing our creative content within the global content creation and utilization model.

What would your duties be?

• Perform data entry for digital records in the DAM database following specific standards.
• Receive digital files and metadata in correct packages.
• Evaluate packages and take appropriate action to ensure complete metadata records, including licensing and copyright requirements.
• Create links between records.
• Support creative agencies provision of digital assets according to guidelines.
• Communicate with creative agencies to give follow up and ensure that the established calendar of digital assets delivery is completed according to the defined timeframes.
• Break down composite assets into modular assets.
• Review data entry of files and folders created in the DAM database to ensure adherence to standards and terminological accuracy.
• Review DAM database records classification.
• Compile statistics on the accomplishments.
• Manage data upload requests into DAM ensuring metadata is complete and accurate.
• Organize and process data relating to basic tickets in MyServices.

Which are the requirements for this position?

• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a multicultural environment.
• Competence with creative design software suites.
• Knowledge of digital records management policies and practices is desirable.
• Familiar with databases and data entry.
• Experience with records management system is desirable.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Knowledge or experience with SQL.
