We are seeking a dynamic and innovative F&B Operations Manager to lead our energetic team and elevate the guest experience to new heights!
POSITION PURPOSE
Collaborate with the F&B Director in the development and implementation of departmental strategies. Ensure the execution of the brand service strategy and the adoption of brand initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supervise daily F&B shift operations and ensure compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures.
Lead the team with a strong hands-on operational focus.
Coordinate cleaning programs in all F&B areas (e.g., general cleaning), identify trends, and recommend improvements.
Manage departmental operations to maximize covers and revenue. Ensure all team members and supervisors understand the brand-specific philosophy.
Assist the F&B Director and management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and coaching employees.
Utilize budgets to understand financial objectives, plan departmental actions and events, oversee purchasing, and control costs.
Analyze information and evaluate results to select the best solutions and resolve issues.
Act as deputy for the F&B Director in their absence, if required.
Inform the F&B Director of guest comments or complaints and initiate appropriate responses.
Project a positive and professional image at all times.
Requirements :
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must be fluent in Spanish and English (spoken, written, and reading comprehension).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Proven ability to supervise subordinate staff, evaluate service standards, and take disciplinary action when necessary.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
In-depth knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations.
Sales-oriented mindset to drive additional local banquet revenues.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
High school diploma or equivalent education is required. A Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in Restaurant Management is preferred.
2–3 years of previous experience as an F&B Supervisor in a 5-star hotel operational role.
2 years of experience using forecasting and budget tools.
Proficiency in computer accounting programs, mathematical skills, and budgetary analysis is required.
Direct Report : Reports to the F&B Director.
