Database and Business Intelligence developer – Off Site – European Commission IT · Bilbao · Com[...]

Responsibilities:

• Write complex stored procedures and queries in SQL Server.
• Design, implement, and deploy Data Vault solutions for large-scale data integration.
• Develop data warehousing solutions using Kimball or Inmon methodologies.
• Build and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS.
• Configure SSAS (multidimensional and tabular models) and create data cubes.
• Design and implement business intelligence dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.

Requirements:

• Language Level: Proficiency in English, minimum C1 level or higher.
• Education: Relevant education level for the role.
• Professional Experience:
• Minimum 9-10 years in Software Development.
• Minimum 3 years in Database Design and Development with Data Vault Modelling.
• Minimum 12 years of experience writing Microsoft T-SQL code.
• Minimum 3 years with Flyway deployment.
• Minimum 12 years with SSAS (multidimensional + tabular) development.
• Desirable: Minimum 6 years with Microsoft SSIS.
• Desirable: Minimum 12 years in database dimensional modelling (Kimball and Inmon).
• Desirable: Minimum 6 years with reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Professional Knowledge:
• Excellent knowledge of writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of Data Vault modelling.
• Expertise in SSIS and SSAS development and deployment.
• Thorough understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
• Desirable: Good knowledge of SSIS and SSAS server configuration and Power BI on-premises development.
• Desirable: Knowledge of CI/CD systems (e.g., TFS) and Agile methodologies.
