Your future responsibilities include:

1. Develop and implement AI-models and algorithms based on machine data (sensor data, image data, etc.) in the industrial environment of corrugated box production.
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (machine development, product management, etc.) to understand challenges and goals and use the right data to solve them.
3. Ensure the scalability and integration of AI models into the existing system- and process landscape so that your ideas become reality for our customers.
4. Perform interdisciplinary analyses and define and document technical requirements and processes for the implementation of your advanced analytics application.
5. Implementation of data science projects from the initial idea to product development and series production.
6. Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
7. Train and support team members on AI-related topics.

Your professional and personal profile:

1. Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an AI Engineer, Data Scientist or similar role, ideally in an industrial environment.
3. Experience in modeling and analyzing large amounts of data.
4. Knowledge of machine learning, statistical analysis and programming languages such as Python or R.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way.
6. Experience in cloud environments (especially AWS).
7. Fluent English and Spanish are mandatory. German language skills are a plus but not required.
