Data Scientist Location: Porto, Lisbon, or Barcelona

Our client, a globally recognised innovator in data and technology, is looking for a Data Scientist to join their expanding team. This role involves leveraging data-driven insights to address complex business challenges, streamline processes, and enhance decision-making.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyse large datasets to uncover trends and generate valuable insights
2. Develop and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms
3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions
4. Build and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Python
5. Present findings through reports and visualisations for stakeholders
6. Stay current with advancements in data science and machine learning

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
2. Excellent analytical skills
3. Experience with machine learning models and statistical methods
4. Expertise in data manipulation, cleaning, and visualisation
5. Strong communication skills to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
6. Fluent in English
