Mission:
Our objective is to provide data protection support to different products and services of the entity, reporting to the Data Protection Officer. Knowledge of data protection in financial services and financing products is necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Provide practical guidance and advice internally on Data Protection matters.
- Participate in all processes that deal with the processing of personal data.
- Ensure compliance with international, national, state, and local privacy laws and regulations.
- Create and implement strategies to ensure compliance with data protection laws.
- Perform DPIAs, PIAs, and LI assessments and maintain the client’s RoPA.
- Maintain processes for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating, and acting on all requests/complaints concerning the organization’s privacy policies and procedures.
To be successful in the role you must have:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal/compliance experience.
- Degree in Law. A master's degree in technology and/or data protection is desirable.
- Certification as DPO/IAPP or similar.
- Languages: Advanced English (C1); knowledge of other languages such as German/Dutch/Portuguese is desirable.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical, reading/comprehension, writing skills, and strong attention to detail.
