This is a Europe Data Product Manager role responsible for managing Sustainability Pep+ Europe Data & AI solutions, including design and implementation of information systems to meet identified business requirements. The ideal candidate needs to have a strong Data & IT background, show proficiency managing a group of IT professionals and all ranges of business stakeholders using Agile practices.
As a Europe DPM, you will be responsible for engagement with S&T transformation and the Europe sector Sustainability team, managing the data product roadmap, defining data product or service requirements, co-ordination of pod delivery, maintaining product budgets, reporting progress to stakeholders, and driving data product value realisation.
Responsibilities
Your day to day with us:
- Oversee the Europe E2E Sustainability /Pep+ Delivery of a D&AI Product including delivery data product demand, stakeholder engagement, managing data product roadmaps, timelines, budget, value realization, D&AI resource requirements, progress reporting, and coordination of the overall delivery of the Europe D&AI program pod.
- Manage risks, issues, and escalations across the delivery lifecycle of a D&AI product and support the Europe pod in raising issues to stakeholders that may impact delivery timelines.
- Translate business requirements to technical requirements by working with stakeholders and key members of the D&AI pod to define the Data Product Requirements (what is required in Gold Layer) and to hand over to the Program Data Steward to perform the Data Discovery Assessment, ensuring that the data product is developed in line with the needs of the program.
- Manage stakeholder engagement from initially assessing demand through to go-live of the D&AI Product.
- Ensure fluent communication with the Global team to align Europe requirements with the Global roadmap and Pepsico Strategy.
Qualifications
What do you need to succeed:
- University education (BS /BA level) or higher required.
- 3+ years of project management experience, leading diverse teams.
- 3+ years hands-on experience in project financial management and IT vendor management.
- Strong SQL skills; desirable experience working with Azure Platform, Databricks, Python, and Azure Dev Ops.
- Good communication skills to manage conversations with different stakeholders, both technical and functional.
- Knowledge of Power BI/ Tableau and Power Automate tools is a must.
- Experience defining and implementing Sustainability projects.
- Experience applying Agile practices as PM/PO; Safe certification would be desired.
- CPG experience preferred.
- Business-level proficiency in English is mandatory.
